Classic Toys
Thinking back on their own childhoods, many parents turn to the toys they remember most fondly so that they can provide the same experience for their own children. These can include the Slinky, Legos, Monopoly, Frisbees, hula hoops, and more. These toys remain popular and widely available today.
Other classic toys include toys from an earlier era that are rare and collectible today (for example, action figures from the original Star Wars movies). These classic toys are often valued as much for their collector’s value, and sometimes stay unopened in the package. With time, if kept in mint condition, some of these older toys can become quite valuable.
However, your kids will likely not be interested in a toy they can’t open. Thankfully, the other toys listed above remain pretty timeless in their entertainment. It is hard to think of something as simple as the Frisbee, but it nevertheless has the potential to keep your kids outside and entertained for long periods of time.
